The Department of Advanced Biomedical Education’s inaugural Research Day will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union Gymnasium. The DABE Research Day Committee would like to invite faculty and students from all departments at UMMC to submit an abstract for the event. Abstracts will be due May 3, 2024.   

·         To submit an abstract, please click Abstract Submission Form.  For the abstract file upload portion of the form, please refer to the DABE Research Day Abstract Information sheet for information on formatting and types of submissions accepted before uploading. Failure to follow the instructions may result in rejection. 

·         You will receive an email on April 30 regarding abstract acceptance. Upon the approval of abstract submissions, participants are expected to create a poster for their presentations during Research Day. Details regarding poster formatting and printing will be included in the acceptance email. Poster number assignments will be communicated one week prior to the event.
