All,
I wanted to send a friendly reminder that everyone’s MSPE will be uploaded before the deadline of September 27th.
Thanks,
Robyn

Subject: 2024 ERAS Residency Application
Importance: High
Good morning, all!
I hope everyone is doing well. I want to make sure everyone is on track to completing your residency application package. This email contains a lot of pertinent information; therefore, it would be wise to save
it for future reference. Please read each item in detail. If you have not done so, go ahead and register your token in ERAS, enter your LOR authors, and start completing your MyERAS application. This is a lengthy process for which you do not want to procrastinate.
Remember to print out the LOR Request Form from your MyERAS account after you have logged your LOR author in the system and give to them when you speak with them. You are allowed to assign a maximum of 4 LORs
to each program to which you have applied; however, you can obtain as many LORs as you wish and pick which ones you would like to use when that time comes. Your MSPE/Dean’s letter does not count as an LOR and may not be counted as an LOR author. You will
generate an individual LORP request form for each individual LOR author once you have
finalized their name in the LoRP system. They will have to create their own account and upload that document on their end using the LOR Request form you gave them.
Note, if you are applying to a program that requires a supplemental page, please do not forget to remind the LOR author about including it when they upload to the LORP. (Remember, just because an author is finalized
does not mean you have to use the LOR to apply to a program if you so choose. By finalizing your authors, it simply creates a slot and number in your profile for your LOR author to match and upload the document in the LORP as soon as it has been completed
on their end. Believe me, you want to make this process as easy as possible for those LOR authors. You can change designations of LORs to programs before you apply to them starting September
6th.) I’ve attached more reminders below.
ERAS Reminders:
Remember it is imperative that you give your LOR authors the MyERAS Electronic LOR Request Form which includes a unique
letter ID at the same time you ask them to write the LOR. An author cannot upload that document unless you have registered your token and given them the electronic LOR request form generated from ERAS. That being said, you will be able
to print this form as soon as you have finalized/submitted each individual author in your application. Each LOR author will receive a different and unique letter ID for each LOR entry you record. Also, keep in mind if you are applying to a specialty with
a supplemental LOR form, you need to provide that to the author at the same time you give them the LOR request form.
It is up to you to log into your profile and make sure that your LORs are being uploaded. If they are not time-stamped as being uploaded, you need to contact the author or their administrative
support person and give them a friendly reminder that these documents need to be in the system by
September 26th at the latest). The portal will stay open after that if the letter needs to be uploaded at a later time.
Please remember that finalizing an LOR author only means you are creating a slot for that person to upload the document into the LORP. When you apply to programs starting 8:00 am central September
6th, you then decide which of those letters you want to send to each program. You do not have to use all of them at that time.
You will need to go to Biomedical Illustration located next to the elevators on the first floor of the LRC building to have your ERAS picture taken. They are available 8:00am-4:00pm and
you do not have to make an appointment (601-984-1215). Note, that you will need to wear a dark (blue, black or gray) suit jacket. Men will need to wear a tie and neutral (not off white or beige) button up shirt. Women please make sure your blouse, jewelry
and makeup is modest, neutral and professional. You will also take your graduation composite picture with robe while you are in there. Along with getting your picture taken in Biomedical Illustration, you will need to upload that picture into your MyERAS
account. We are no longer able to do that on our end. Again, these need to be uploaded no later than September 27th. You want the programs to see that you have completed the entire package and that you have not left anything out.
You will need to officially request your transcript via
Parchment Storefront. Each request is a $10 fee. I have also attached instructions. Please make sure that all of your M1-M3 grades have been recorded
in Workday before you request your transcript. If you are still completing M3 courses, please wait to request this document until those grades have been recorded in WD. If
you request it to be sent too early, there is not an option for the Office of Enrollment to resend this on your behalf. You will have to request another copy be sent and pay the transcript fee
again. Also, request for transcripts to be sent to our OME email address
[log in to unmask]
so we can then upload to ERAS. We upload those documents in bulk at one time. Your transcript and your MSPE/Dean’s Letter will be uploaded a few days before September 27th.
The exception is for transcripts for those of you in an early match.
These transcripts will be uploaded in August.
The Medical Student Performance Evaluations (MSPE) will be released on September 27th by ERAS to residency programs.
MyERAS will automatically be made available to your applied programs on September 27th as well.
Please check over your transcript in Workday and review your MSPE with your dean to make sure there are no errors ahead of time.
Do not forget to go in and select the “Authorize Release” option for your USMLE transcript. If your scores come in after your application is released
and you’ve already clicked authorize, you will need to go back and “Re-submit” as soon as they come in.
If you are participating in another Match, please contact me
asap to make sure I have your documents and deadlines correct (i.e. SF Match, Urology, Military)
Please reach out to me if you plan on “Couples Matching”.
• Click Continue on the Application Checklist page to review the application before actually certifying and submitting
I’ve attached the ERAS (application system) and NRMP (matching system) Fees document to this email.
NRMP Info:
The NRMP registration will open to applicants September 15th. If you register before November 30th you will pay the base $85 fee; however, if you register after that
date you will have to pay the base fee plus the late registration fee which is an extra $50. Couples fees are $25 extra per applicant. I have attached more material regarding the NRMP Match system and will update later with more information.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We are here to help in any way possible. Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Robyn
