The School of Medicine seeks passionate medical educators from the clinical and foundational sciences to join an educational writing collaborative as authors or peer reviewers. Participants will develop problem-based/case-based learning opportunities for first and second year medical students.  Learning objectives and templates will be provided to the authors. After completion of the activities, outcomes data will be collected and the curricula submitted for publication to the online MedEdPortal, an AAMC, peer-reviewed publication indexed by PubMed which can be included in promotions packets and on all professional CVs.

Authors are asked to commit to participate in the development of 1-2 cases per month for 6 months. Each case is expected to take approximately 4 hours and authors are encouraged to work together in teams. Peer reviewers are asked to commit to reviewing 2-4 cases per month, with each review expected to take about an hour. If you are interested in joining the collaborative, please follow the link below to complete the application or scan the QR code. Responses are requested by March 10.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
