School of Medicine Clinical Faculty-We need your help!

This spring we will be offering a new integrated Neuroscience and Behavior Class to our M1 students.  We have taken content from neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and psychiatry and integrated it such that students will hopefully learn and retain more information.  We have also made it very clinically relevant so they can see how the basic science is integral to their future practice of medicine.  This is where our clinical faculty can help.  We are looking for preceptors for the clinical cases.  You do not have to be a neurologist or psychiatrist or neurosurgeon to help.  Any clinician can precept.  You will be paired with a basic scientist and given coaching on how to precept prior to your session.  Ideally you would sign up for both sessions for a case, but if you can only do one session that is fine.  After your session we will provide you on student feedback, if available and a letter documenting your teaching time for your educators portfolio.  This is a short term time commitment that will greatly benefit our students.  If you are able to help, please contact Tanya Reed at  [log in to unmask].  The dates are:
