I am looking for some great ideas on how to revamp a discussion board that I used this past year.  I am hoping the new version will be both student AND faculty-friendly!  Basically, I assigned students to post a reflection to different chapters in the book and then other students to post a comment on that reflection.  The goal was to keep students engaged in the reading assignments over the course of the semester.  It worked well enough, but it was not very "pretty" to read.  Has anyone tried anything similar or tried a different "version" of a discussion board?  Would love to hear your ideas and experiences!
